Description #
Bytebond is a two-player cooperative puzzle game set inside a computer, where teamwork is the key to success. Players take control of two unique robots navigating the digital world, solving puzzles based on energy management. Every puzzle in Bytebond requires both players to work together. Managing energy effectively is crucial for activating objects, opening passages, and overcoming obstacles. Even combat relies on cooperation—neither player can succeed alone.
History #
The idea for Bytebond first took shape in 2020 as part of the Power project at the Lodz University of Technology’s FTIMS Faculty. It went through multiple prototypes, evolving until the gameplay felt just right, at which point we began refining the artistic vision. Over time, the game gained recognition, winning the Game Design category at the ZTGK Challenge and Best Gameplay at the Game Access Conference.
